It is a Thrupp and Maberly aluminium bodied Mercedes Benz 710 SS Cabriolet A

I believe we're looking at a 710 SS 27/170 125 hp Cabriolet A made from '28 - '34.
Thrupp and Maberly is the coach builder, made of aluminium as Amsterdam said.
Apparently it's one of Ferndenhand Porsches best designs but was a bit heavy for racing.
Mercedes wasn't set up for racing quite yet as other automakers were.
