Who knows this vehicle?
-
Wow!!!
-
I think, I do.
-
It´s a photo I´ve made from an official sales brochure from my collection.
I do not know how many of those have been produced, but it really looks like a fun drive!
-
How to obtain such rare brochures and how much do they cost?
-
Do not ask what it all costs :P
-
Experts will know it.
-
Italian Car Modulo - an italian 3-wheeler with an engine coming from a BMW motorcycle ( 750 or 1000 cc )...
-
Wow!
Yes it is the italian Modulo with a BMW K75 S motorcycle engine. Here are some scans from the brochure:
-

This is you first warning.
-
Was this thing ever produced? It has a bit of actual BMW-design of the time about it.
-
Yes, several of those must have been built.
You can find versions with engines of BMW K 100/K 1100/K 1200 or Moto Guzzi 1100, too.
A later ca. 1996 version was available as the "GT 1100 Sport" and the "GT 1100 Daytona":
-
It also had a Formula 1 racer as a project supporter
-
I saw it at Geneve long ago..I should have a pic of It I took when I was there...not a good pic but you can't find many of it, can you?
-
Surely it would be great to see this pic here... ;)
-
Nigel Mansell actually owned that Modulo - and may still do
-
I forgot to look for that pic...
It was available also with a Guzzi engine, 1000 or 1100cc known as RS1100 in late 90s.
