These mascots belong to which cars? Just marques
8g, I think, is the Icon CJ3B.
8e is an accessory part. It is called Wirbulator and was made between 1952 and 1958. Its main task, besides being decorative, was to keep insects, dust and snow away from the windshield.
It is sitting on top of a 1957 Vauxhall hood ornament.
8d is from the Honda Element Dog Friendly Concept
BTW, is there an 8a?

Sorry, that the result for missing the first letter!
The Wendax list is the real one
Some clues:
b. Posies Aeroliner Sport Ken Fenical U.S.A. 2006 (Tom_I)
c. Rover, aftermarket (Tom_I)
d. Honda Element Dog Friendly Concept (Wendax)
e. Vauxhall 1957 (Wendax)
f. Ford V8 Hot Rods (Tackitt)
g. Icon CJ3B (neilshouse)
I'm sure that C (the boxer) is an aftermarket mascot, but it looks to be mounted on a radiator cap from a Rover (P3 or earlier), the plain type, without the Viking's head.
You're absolutely right!!!
Even More Clues:
b: This car's original mascot
f: Aftermarket mascot specially for this car
I've found another example of 8f, but no further information. Can anyone identify the car from this detail?
...And eventually found 8b, which is the mascot on an Aeroliner Sport, made by Posies Inc. Rods & Customs, of Hummelstown, Pennsylvania.
8b. Correct. Posies Aeroliner Sport Ken Fenical U.S.A. 2006
8f. As I wrote before as a clue, it's an aftermarket mascot. My source says that it belongs more to a generic kind of car than an specific model. (Last clue)
8f would be V8 as in Ford V8?
That's it. It's commonly use in Ford V8 Hot Rods
I've just found another source that claims 8f as Ford V8 Sportsman Mascot
