Hmm... I wonder what's the deal with #11. I've always known this car as the Corrado Magnum by Design & Technik. And that's what also said for example here: http://home.conceptsfa.nl/~tmandos/corrado/engels.htm#Corrado%20magnum%20combi
and here: http://www.vw-club.co.yu/forum/index.php?topic=1777.0
and also in my 1990/1991 AutoKatalog which I could scan but I can't be bothered to at the moment ;)

I've never seen it branded as a MAG however?

The Corrado Magnum is stated on different web pages. Even Styling Garage (again!) claims the auhorship for this car.
I've found the very same pic of #11 named MAG Corrado. On those occasions I normally don't ask for verification...

Check your second link again, there's a black and white full page ad with the firm MAG at the bottom.  ;)

ImpishGrin

#30
If you read the ad, it's only about the two prototypes being for sale. It doesn't state that the company that sells them is the one that made them :P

As for Styling Garage, it';s not that far from truth. Design & Technik was established by Christian Hahn after his previous company - Styling Garage (SGS) went bust :)

Edit: I actually got bothered and scanned the relevant page from my AutoKatalog. here you go.
It's not denial, I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

DHoffmann

The way I see it someone saw the flier advertising the car for sale, read the 'firma: MAG' at the bottom - there's no mention whatsoever of Design & Technik - and then posted images using that new name elsewhere where I found them. The source I got these images from is one I generally can trust, but as we all know the internet has been known to be wrong on occasion.  ;D

What I'll do is give Allemano 1 point for correctly identifying the incorrect car, and you 1 point for incorrectly identifying the correct car. How's that sound?

Well, I'll have to strongly disagree. Although I know the answer you're looking for is Rolls-Royce Phantom Mutec Limousine, the Genaddi Black Tie Edition is equally satisfactory since the car is absolutely identical!

#57 - 500SGS Gullwing Nope!

It is. You're probably looking for the name scar, as this photo also appears in their brochure. Scar sold, amongst others, SGS's and Gemballa's as if they were their own. For their brochure they used images that were made by the original tuners, in this case SGS. If you browse through the brochure you can also find photo's of SGS convertible's and stretch limousines, as well as another Gullwing.
In fact the location where that pic has been taken was used by SGS before for another photoshoot with a white Gullwing. Besides this I've also been talking with the owner of an SGS Gullwing widebody. His car has exactly the same bodykit and features as the black one in your photo. And according to the VIN it is a Styling Garage Special. He also said "Scar "stole" the image from SGS to use in their brochure after SGS had gone bankrupt".

They're not actually identical, first of all, and second this isn't the 'looks like this tuner' thread, it's the exact correct tuner that's required. You are, however, correct with Mutec! Well done.
