Built in Germany, based on post-war German-car?

Djetset

A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

pnegyesi

Another Champion-based special?

Djetset

Not Champion-based, and also intended for regular production (although i am uncertain as to how many were built).

pnegyesi

Hmm, there are fewer and fewer possibilities.

Was Lloyd a donor?

pnegyesi

Let me be a bit more precise, was this created in West Germany?

pnegyesi

And if it was built in West Germany, could this be the Espenlaub prototyp from 1952?

Djetset

I'm still not certain if this was East or West German, but I do know that it is neither an EMW or Espenlaub prototype.

pnegyesi

Hmm, getting interesting. Could this be built on an Adler chassis?

Djetset

No, not an Adler either!

Any connections to the Borgward-Hansa-Goliath empire?

Djetset

Indeed! ;D
It's the German "Puck"

The one-off was built in 1952 by the brothers Krick from Hofgeismar. The chassis was donated by VW, the rear axle was borrowed by a Opel Kadett. The body was hand made of Aluminium.
Powered by a Zündapp KS-600 rear engine it developed 22 HP which supposedly propelled that tiny car to a top speed of 150km/h

Djetset

At last, it is indeed the German Puck, powered by a Zundap engine.  Well done ;D

Must be definetely before 1993..

woodinsight
