What's this special based on and when was it built?
If you have its name, even better!

Is there, by any chance, a Triumph connection? The car looks vaguely familiar.

based on a 1958 Austin Healey 100/6 possibly called a California.  Allegedly built in the 1960s.

This car is currently for sale in Manchester, UK, for those with £70K burning a hole in their pocket.
Fairly optimistic price I would have thought..
