Last one from me for this week.

Which company built this very small single seater and the year it was built?
What was it specifically used for?
A point for the correct answer.

Probably I'll give it away, but I have this pic in Rene Bellu's book....it's a french car, isn't it?
Could it be a Jicey?

Guerin-De Coucy?
(I do not have the book with me but I have it listed in my index...)

No, not that either.

Is there a Rosengart connection?

Not that I know of....
The car was used for a very specific purpose and I'm sure once this is identified it will lead you to who made it.

Here's a clue - there's no space for the King of the Jungle in this one......

Wendax

It is a Lambert 1100, rebodied as a monoposto. It should be from around 1949. The car survives in Italy. But no idea about its specific use (other than racing  :D ).

Yes it's a Lambert. I believe it dates from 1951.
I'll add another clue for you - it's use was more vertical than horizontal!
Locked for you until your next reply.

You are correct!

Just to illustrate my "no room for the king of the jungle in this one" clue
