Bechem AFM Special?
It is a AFM, but not the Karl-Günther Bechem car.
I lock this for you till your next reply to find the rest of the required facts.
I haven't found the photo of the car but after a search I can only guess that this is the car owned by the Swiss Peter Hirt. Possibly built 1949 and later rebodied by Touring or perhaps Drews?

Thanks for the lock but I haven't found anything else that relates to a non-German driver related to AFM.
Please open it again - I'm very interested to learn what it is......
Okay then sharks, have a go!
In 1954 the Swiss racing driver Heini Walter bought Hans Stuck's AFM Monoposto. The coachbuilder Fridolin from Freiburg (Germany) built a sports car body for this chassis. Heini Walter wasn't very successful with the AFM.
Right you are Wendax, another point for you!

Well done Wendax.
Yes I remember Heini Walter but didn't associate him owning an AFM - I'm learning so much through this site!
