What car is this?
What was it called, who built it, when and who built the bodywork?
One point for the correct answer.

This is the Kondor GT, built by Brian Wingfield in the early 1960s. The body was built by Williams & Pritchard in aluminium over a spaceframe chassis, with a Ford Falcon 3.7 V8 and it has Lotus-Cortina rear suspension.

That's it. Another point for you.

This is a car I periodically check up on and see if it has resurfaced, and amazingly I've just had my first 'hit'. Sadly, the news isn't good. It's still in the Wingfield family and has been 'restored', which apparently means making lots of rather serious modifications to the bodywork and turning it into a bit of a hot-rod/restomod. It doesn't bear much resemblance to the original, sadly, and has entirely lost any appeal for me. Another unhappy ending for an interesting car. I have found one photograph showing the car as originally built – the first I've ever seen – which shows just what a mess has been made of it.
