This looks very much to be a Robert Opron design. Front fender as Renault Fuego, silhouette as Renault 14 and Citroën Axel, single windscreen wiper as CX, Visa, Axel... Is this a proposal from Renault for a Dacia?

As I remember this was actually called the Pinguin.
Anyhow, Fridez was the Swiss dealer of the Hungarian Puli microcar, which was then made by Hódgép in Hódmezővásárhely. When he was not paying for the sold cars, Hódgép management kicked him out. In turn Fridez lured some of the staff away from Hódgép and set up a new company in the same city, which converted a few Tavria cars to use electric powertrain. This did not last long
