Know what this is for a point?
All quiet on the Rookie front, so time for the Experts to make some noise.
Well, it looks German, maybe Volkswagen based.
It is German, but no VW-based to my knowledge.
I think this is based on a Porsche 356 - an early 1950s model. I am trying to find who did the body.
Glöckler?
I think you're steering down the wrong Autobahn with this one!
So it isn't Porsche 356 based, is it so?
Nein!
DKW?
I just realized that there's an Opel in the background. Got anything to do with Opel?
Please forgive the slow response. It's got no connection with Porsche, DKW or Opel.
BMW-based?
Mercedes-Benz ???
Not Mercedes nor BMW.
Petermax Müller?
Veritas?
No and no.
A shot in the dark: any connection to Brütsch?
Not that I'm aware of.
I am just looking at this car and I can't find it in any of my books. Those headlights and the split-windscreen, hmm, maybe Gutbrod Superior-based?
Is it a Wendax Roadster?
No.
No to both the Gutbrod and the Wendax?
No to both Gutbrod and Wendax!
Built in Germany, based on post-war German-car?
Yes.
Another Champion-based special?
Not Champion-based, and also intended for regular production (although i am uncertain as to how many were built).
Hmm, there are fewer and fewer possibilities.
Was Lloyd a donor?
No!
Let me be a bit more precise, was this created in West Germany?
Could it be an EMW car?
And if it was built in West Germany, could this be the Espenlaub prototyp from 1952?
I'm still not certain if this was East or West German, but I do know that it is neither an EMW or Espenlaub prototype.
Hmm, getting interesting. Could this be built on an Adler chassis?
No, not an Adler either!
Any connections to the Borgward-Hansa-Goliath empire?
No known connections with the Borgward empire.
Oh, deleted..... :bag:
I'm not allowed to post here Mr. Jaray, and so are you! ;D
Why should I post here? ;D
Time to move this up to the Pros...

Time to move this up to the Pros...
Indeed! ;D
It's the German "Puck"
The one-off was built in 1952 by the brothers Krick from Hofgeismar. The chassis was donated by VW, the rear axle was borrowed by a Opel Kadett. The body was hand made of Aluminium.
Powered by a Zündapp KS-600 rear engine it developed 22 HP which
supposedly propelled that tiny car to a top speed of 150km/h
At last, it is indeed the German Puck, powered by a Zundap engine. Well done ;D
Just found a letter regarding the car -
Interisting! Do you know what it dates from?
Must be definetely before 1993..
The letter was in Markt September 1986
Would be interisting to know if it still exists.
