Yes it is based on a 2CV.  Well done, as to me it's not that obvious.  You get a point.  Another point up for grabs though for anyone who can tell me what the car is called.

Thank you for reviving this one, but sadly it's not called Condesa.

Similar to Martini 1910-14

Similar-ish to a 1910-14 Martini, but not a Martini as it's based on a Citroen 2CV.

So, into the Black Hole it now goes...

And another point goes to Joao, as this is the 2CV-based special, built by John Wright, how also buult the eight-cylinder Leyland special as pictured.  It took 18 months to solve, so very well done  ;D

Crikey. Does anyone know whatever happened to John Wright? Didn't he move to Malta?

Now there is some sterling worksmanship - both the Leyland and the 2CV specials. I would so much rather see well-financed and mechanically inclined enthusiasts produce vehicles like this than some of the ugly contraptions many of them seem to continually come up with.

Typed by George (Cyprus) from John Wrights words that sits by me at this moment !!! John is my uncle im happy to say  ;) who still lives in UK and occasionally comes on holiday to Cyprus... not Malta  :D

from John's own mouth and my typing

"The engine is a supercharged 3-cylinder diesel 2-stroke. Each cylinder has 2 pistons coming together in the center to make compression , so no cylinder heads to crack, no head gaskets to blow "  The engine was manufactured in about 1960 by Tilling-Stevens (hence TS-3  TS for Tilling-Stevens and 3 for 3 cylinders !)  .. john actually has 2  brand new engines still sealed fromthe factory and about other 6 of them. !!!
