To gain a point please tell me the name of the builder and the car. Photo now re-sized, thanks to all the fellow Puzzles that rusched to my rescue to reduce the photo size.
Helpful?
Thanks barrett, that you stepped in this time...
Thanks to both Barrett and Allemano. As I don't have Photoshop, and my PC is from the 17th Century, is there a simple way to re-size images that I could try? Any advise gratefully received. Thanks.

New PC perhaps?!
I also sent you a re-sized one within minutes of your original post but to the e-mail in your profile.
Do you get those mails?!
The Rookies section is looking a little over-crowded these days, so let's clear some space and move this up one...
Experts now have plenty to keep them occupied by too, so up to the Pros...
Cannon Mk4?
No, not that.
From the UK France?
Oui, c'est francaise :D
Should have guessed with the Gauloise/Gitanes dans sa bouche (ou nez!)
Based on a Citroen 2CV?
Yes.
Clauzet?
No.
No response so far this year for this car, so going into the Black Hole soon, unless anyone can save it.
Into the Black Hole...
Anything to do with UMAP?
No UMAP connections that I know of.
One of the prettiest cars on this website and it never gets any attention!
Did the person or company who built this also built other cars that we might be aware of?
Yes, I believe that the person that built this car did also build some others, but they are very obscure as well.
Frèderick Frèvère built a similar car...
Based on another recent correct answer, plus you being very close with this 2CV special, I can now see what you have got as an early Christmas present PJ ;). I have a slightly different name for the builder, although your answer is very close so I will accept it, but to complete the puzzle do you have the model name as well? Now locked for you.
A very interesting book indeed... ;D
I was so worried about the correct "è" that I mispelled the rest!
Robert Fèvrier built this car in 1962 starting from a wrecked Aronde.
In the book the story is told by his son, Frèdèrick, and the car was named Sophie.
The car remain extant...in pieces but alive.
I can't read the 6 pages article (that is in French) in a short amount of time...I'll post the story in a second time.
...and I'll add more pics, of course!
Well done PJ: Sophie was the name I was looking for. There is a second volume edtion of that book due out very soon, which promises to be introduce us to a few new surprises as well! ;D
I look forward to seeing more images of this car, it really does look nice
Here you are one:
