I don't know too much about this one, but I do know it's name, so do you as well to gain a point?

Thanks Allemano; I had it with a different spelling.  Perhaps we can merge this one now to add this additional photograph. ;)

Sorry, Allemano, I believe that you were too fast and they shouldn't be merged.
Otto's puzzle showed the 1951 metal prototype, as @re wrote. (it could be written in the topic's title).

Djetset's picture, as yours, show a 1953 "production" model with the fiberglass body, different windshield, doors and tail lights.
Quite a different car.

Here it is at the 1953 Auto Show in Madison Square Garden, N.Y.

I thought they looked different!  As the answer has now been subtly revealed, I guess I should move this one to Solved. Agreed?

Only if someone can trace it back to the puzzle it was temporarily merged with, using the deleted link.

It's not a Berkley, am I right? I just love being right!  ;)

Djetset

Sorry VVV, but on this occassion you are not right, as Wendax gets the point.  So, another point to you Wendax; well done.

I guess it was a trick question sorta.
I said it's NOT a Berkley.....right?
I was right so where's my point?
(hardy-har, pay no attention to me  :yuck:)

And yes, well done Wendax. I have much to learn here. I'm up for adoption btw.

Did this car ever make it off that piece of paper onto assfault?

"Rockefella" Yankee? It the name spelled differently than most of us think, or does the heading need to be corrected?  8)

Think Djetset's thinking about that dreadful sixties Israeli pop-song by Esther and Abi Ofarim (if that's how you spell it..!)
