What is this for a point?
Going up...
Lanchester?
Sorry, but not a Lanchester.
This is, if I remember correctly, a proposal for the 'big' Morris Minor which eventually became the Oxford. I think this particular car was styled by Gerald Palmer and dates from the very early 1950s. This is all from my rather shaky memory though so I'm probably wrong!
Sorry Barrett, but your memory must be shaky tonight as this is not a proposal for any Morris model.
Ha!
Well in that case, is it what it looks like, a styling clay for the Austin A70 Hereford?
Not an Austin either!
It is British isn't it?
Sunbeam-Talbot?
Just a guess - was this a proposal for the Rover P4? :-\
It is British, but it's not a Sunbeam-Talbot, nor a Rover.
Triumph?
Singer?
Is it from one of the other BMC marques? Perhaps a Wolesley?
Not a Triumph, Singer or any BMC marque!
Ford Consul/Zephyr/Zodiac proposal?
A pre-BMC Riley concept?
Hillman proposal for a 4-door Minx convertible
Barrett has cracked it, as it is one of the original styling proposals for the Mark 1 British Ford Consul Zephyr/ Zodiac. Another point to Barrett.
