Know what it is?

Please, respond below and let us know the make and model designation of the car posted here (very easy!) and what is special about this example..

If you haven't registered yet, you need to do so in order to reply with your answer.  You can do so by clicking here.

Also, please be sure to check out our other puzzles, and, please post a puzzle of your own if you'd like - the more, the merrier. :D

1959 Opel Rekord P1 fuel economy test car, 376.59 MPG  The painted lettering "OPEL" on the fender helped a lot

1 point is yours if you name this car...

This was a repost, Guido. They've been merged.

Maybe you did, maybe you did not: learning how to use the search function to check your puzzles before posting will guard you from this.

I think he did quite some more reposts on his last bunch of puzzles.

I always search this forum before posting, but somehow this one didn't show up in the resultsĀ  ???

I supposed you did, having reached the expert rank, but there are a few ropes to learn:
- if you select "match all the words", don't give him too many because if one is missing your search will be fruitless.
- when in doubt, limit yourself to the basic words: here Opel and Rekord, or even Opel, should be enough. Keep in mind that the guy who named the topic may not have been very precise.
- limit your research to the "Solved puzzles" sections, this will keep the number of pages low, and you don't want the other sections anyway.

And don't worry: everyone here made some reposts, and still does on the occasion.
