For a Festive point, which car company developed this shopping trolley, and who was it designed for?

The Rookies must be off their trolley for Christmas, so I will wheel this one along, sideways!

I seem to remeber there was one designed for Sainsburys but cannot remember who by.

Ah, it looks like I will have to split one point between two, as both GilesC and Wingroad are correct.  Hey, as it's Christmas, you can both have a whole point each, as this is indeed a shopping trolley developed to handle better than the usual out-of-control models by Lotus Engineering for the British Sainsbury's supermarket chain.  Well done both.

And I always thought it was the women pushing the trolleys who were at fault!

The ideal trolly would have two rear wheels that didn't swivel and a single one that did.  It wouldn't rock and would steer easily.  Needless to say, nobody makes one.

You should patent the idea now D-type, and then go and raise some funding for it on Dragon's Den  ;D
