Which car is this?

araknid

A very bad copy of the original Batmobile by George Barris ::)
Always remember to keep the shiny side up and the greasy side down.

jotage21

yes, but the question is specifically which of the lot of bad copies of Batmobile (who made it)

I haven't found it, but am having a good laugh at some of the home-built Batmobile replicas I have found while looking. ;D

:lmao: There should be a law against those things...
and the last one...was it a real Spohn?  :faint:
Thank you for sharing...

Otto Puzzell

The fat guy riding in the "Spohn" is Jimmy Dimora, an Ohio politician who is in the midst of a federal federal investigation of corruption charges related to taking bribes.

So, I suppose this one resides somewhere in Ohio. I can't find anything else about the car. However, the dashboard seems to be that of a 1950's Corvette. Did Spohn built any Chevy-based cars? If so, I'd guess this one was later modified to resemble the Batmobile.

Thank you Otto...I'm pretty sure it is a real Spohn...who will be interested in making a replica of such an obscure (and quite unattractive) car? On the other hand who later converted it in a Buttmobile proved his good taste...

There's so many of these so-called 'Batmobiles' out there that I'm sure someone is going to produce a book on the subject......not my cup of tea but just an observation.

Otto Puzzell

Looks like it's on a truck chassis. A converted pickup?
