No, this is not a kumquat, although it is small and orange.

For one point, please respond and identify the car by telling its builder and its base.

JMC

From DDR? (Wartburg 353 Tourist in the background)

Wendax

You are right in identifying the Wartburg. But that was a misleading track  :(
It is not from the GDR.

JMC

Okay, it's RHD, just noticed. ;D
UK?

Wendax

Yes, it is from the UK (to where Wartburgs were exported as Wartburg Knight, by the way).

Our experts will know

Our experts were not interested, up it goes

woodinsight

Is this a prototype of a model that later saw production or was it a 'one-off'?

Wendax

As I understand it, it was a one-off.

Paul Jaray

It's a Peel prototype with a Lambretta engine..

Wendax

Tell me the name of the builder and the point is yours. Locked until your next reply.

Paul Jaray

I know it was owned at some time by Grant Kearney and I found a couple of pictures referring to it as Ernie Leece's Peel Prototype.
You can unlock it, I will need to much time.  :-\

I will unlock it, because Ernie Leece is the name I was looking for.

Another point for you, congratulations.
