The photo shows the car when it was new and it was fitted with a Ford 1172cc engine.
There were plans to insert a 1.5 litre engine for competitive events.

Time for a clue.

The man who created this machine was a well-known racing driver in the 1950s driving Jaguars, Coopers and the Halseylec.
The car was named after him (surname) but also had a 'model' name.

The car did actually compete in a few races with a 1.5 litre engine in the mid 1950s.
