A proposal that was never built. Which company was behind it?

woodinsight

Probably quite obscure but who knows an Expert may provide the solution

Limo

it's a michelotti design. Maybe for Packard?

woodinsight

thorax

Fiat 1400 B Junior Ghia?
FRIUL LIBAR

woodinsight

It is a Michelotti design - I probably didn't make it clear that limo was correct in that regard.

Limo

michelotti doesn't give a clue about the type of car, because he made 1200 designs, almost for every car brand, and all look a bit the same from this period.

woodinsight

The marque is very obscure.......

Limo

In that case it could be Balbo

A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

woodinsight

Not Moretti related and not Italian

In other words a Michelotti design for (2 words - manufacturer)

Allemano

João

Armstrong-Siddeley??

woodinsight

European but not Armstrong-Siddeley

Djetset

A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

woodinsight

Not Aston Martin.
A bit of a clue - this company was involved in racing cars and had never built a road-going car before.

Allemano

Somehow I think I know the story of this sketch, but I can't locate it in my brain...  :-\

mmmmh... a chassis builder perhaps?

woodinsight

Okay, here's another clue -
The name you're looking for is the name of the constructor - first and second names

Paul Jaray

In the list of Michelotti's cars the only name you can find is Roger Bourdot, who was indeed involved in racing cars and I think he never built a road going car...

It's a slightly similar situation - no road cars were built - the intention was there.
Racing cars to the highest racing series were built......

barrett

Was the marque French?
