Maybe it's a Behra-Porsche.

The car is the Behra Porsche. It is Ms. De Filippis, but she didn't qualify for Monaco in 1959, so the picture was obviously taken during practise. As this was it's debut event, I suspect that the aluminium bodywork was just freshly completed and not yet painted, explaining the the rather odd appearance - those are grinding/sanding marks from the fabrication, not dents.

(though according to some sources, it could be mr. Behra himself?)

Dammit!  :censored:
I've been waiting for this to come up from the rookies and you beat me to it.   :sigh:

Well I think the point should go to Iluvatar as he first guessed Maria Teresa de Filippis at the Monaco GP in 1959 and then also added that it might have been the Behra-Porsche.
Unfortunately DeAutogids was just beaten to it and D-Type was half-an-hour too late.
Perhaps I'll post some more puzzles like this in future.
