For one point, any ideas what this one might be?
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

It is the 1970 Dogo GT (also known as Dogo SS-2000) prototype built by the Argentinian racing driver and constructor Clemar Bucci.

faksta

Hmm..I have previously seen only the rear shots of this car...

EDIT:
By the way, I have to say that applying a fake number plate that reads '96' instead of the original '1970' doesn't seem to me a friendly way of making the car in a puzzle more enigmatic – even when the manipulation is as apparent as here... If we want to hide a clue like that, I think we'd better cover it up simply with a blank plate or with some indifferent script like, say, 'Autopuzzles'.

I agree to that.
And it somehow goes again the Puzzles rulebook that I think we've all seen by now.

It's already restricted by: "3.   Photoshop modifications that place a vehicle in an incorrect time or place."

Paul Jaray

But I think , this time, that was just the number of this puzzle and in no-way was intended as an year, IMHO.

Allemano

Of course you're right PJ! I didn't notice!  :-[

Agreed.

Oops... PJ is right. I'm really sorry for having overlooked that. I misunderstood the situation – and not in a friendly way. Sorry Arunas!

No problem guys! Next time I won't make any misleading photoshopt tricks .. Sorry too..

Otto Puzzell

No worries - you didn't do anything wrong here.

Besides, an AutoPuzzler worth his salt wouldn't really be looking for a car built in '96, after looking at that picture, would they?  :D

Correct, although this one was an unintended repeat of another recent Rookies puzzle.  Anyway, well spotted.

From the official site comes this: I believe GT is not the real name.

Clemar Bucci passed away three weeks ago (January 12th), he was 90 years old.

Before he passed away there were plans to make a brand new speedster...
