Still searching for that elusive balance between too easy & too hard...

Tell me what it is for a point!

OK, no activity on this one... time to move to Experts.

Looks like the model for the Husqvarna 1943

ftg3plus4

It looks like it 'cause it is!  ;D

BTW, has anyone ever come across a photograph of the actual car? And where would the doors have been on this thing?

P.S.: I was mildly surprised that this didn't show up in the "When Bikers Make Cars" puzzle some time back.

I have a book about Swedish cars, but as i doesn´t speak Swedish I don´t know if the car in the same page is the same one or another prototype, but it´s a little diferent and the picture is very bad (has some people in front of the car). I´ll try ASAP to scan or photo the book page.

There's a source on the internet where this car is shown. As far as I understand it remained a scale model

Paul Jaray

I think the picture of this puzzle comes from that source...it's the same pic you can find there, but in BW.

My understanding is that the car was built in 1943 but was destroyed in the '50s, and the scale model is all that's left.

It was built by the mob? Or had they just stolen the car?  ;D

Very cool pic, PK - thanks!
You wanna be the man, you gotta Name That Car!

Doesn't quite look like the model, but it does explain why the model has no doors.

Thanks for posting the pic!
