This custom-built, all-steel car won the 1966 NHRA National Custom Auto Fair and the 1966 Los Angeles Winternationals Motorama top prize. It's powered by a 289 Ford engine wth Cruise-o-Matic tranny sending power to an independent rear suspension designed by Puhl.

Great photo, but doesn't the right front tire look like a studded snow tire? Maybe Mr. Puhl wanted to create the "illusion" of driving it on ice.
