Up to the Pros now

That's Richard Bolster's Special.
Richard was brother of John V. Bolster of "Bloody Mary" fame but this special is much less crude than BM.
It had/has parts from the GN it started life as; a supercharged MG Magna engine which needed a radiator (ex-Darracq); Lea-Francis brakes; etc.
Opinionated but sometimes wrong

Absolutely correct Allan.
More on this type of car to come from me in the future.

Always good to compare photos like those. e.g. someone in the car's history has abandoned the unsatisfactory rear-mounted trackrod (with its huge bow to clear the supercharger) and mounted forward-facing steering arms and a nice straight rod.
Not quite as obvious an advantage is the separation of the front suspension's lower links from the dampers as it now has simple tubular links and the dampers are located near the springs (but are still friction type). The change to brake operation by cable was also not an immediately necessary mod., I would say.
