Who needs more than three wheels for a rallye car?
For one point, please respond and identify this car.
This is the last one from me for some time now.
Make, model and year for a point.
(once again apologies for the poor image)

Yes, almost correct.
Make is slightly wrongly spelt and what model is it? and a more definite year please.
Locked for you.......
Sorry Rookies. I will stop this puzzle, because woodinsight just has posted a puzzle with the same car at expert level that almost has been solved.
When woodinsight's puzzle is finally solved, could one of the admins please merge it with this one:

It's actually called a Diabolo.
It was made in Stuttgart and was introduced in 1922, remaining in production until 1927.
It was powered by an 1100 cc Motosacoche engine.
I haven't been able to find out any model name as yet but I'll keep looking!
Unfortunately this puzzle has turned out to be the same as Wendax's #165.
My apologies for that as I didn't relate the two cars.
Wendax has sportingly said he would stop his puzzle and merge it with this one when solved.
So Carnut we'll await your answer with the correct solution.

Thanks Carnut, that's close enough for me.
The model I believe was the 4/10 PS but the rest of your information is correct and another point for you.
Admins - can you merge this one with Wendax's #165 - thanks in advance
From 1924 on it was built in Bruchsal
The unmodified picture
Thanks woodinsight.
According to Georgano it was made by Diabolo Kleinauto GmbH or Stuttgart, although I did see elsewhere that it was also made in Bruchsal but I didn't know if it was instead of or as well as!
Georgano doesn't mention a model name at all..
Merged.
And another picture of the Diabolo, this time driven by Heinz Rühmann, a popular German actor, whose first car this was.
This one looks like a Diabolo to me:
Article from 1926
Thanks for that article Pal and also to Wendax for his additional photos.
It's heartening to see that information is being added to already solved puzzles - long may it continue!
Many solved puzzles leave one no more informed about the subject...... :(
