One point for the make, base car and what engine was fitted......
Perhaps not so easy but let's move this one up a level
Up again
No takers - time for a clue or two .....
It looks older than it really is and the make consists of three letters.
JBA?
JAK?

JAK?
Not that but the letter it begins with is very close.....!
GPA?
Is it the German marque, IFA? Based on their F9 sedan with the DKW 3-cylinder motor?
No it's not that. It's British.
I should have said move a notch up from 'J'
HWM (HERSHAM and WALTON MOTORS)?
KVA?

KVA?
Not KVA but it does begin with 'K' and is three letters
KAT?
KMB?
KVA
KAT
KMB
Just to add a hint or two - the car is based on a very popular British model but has a different engine.
Here's another (poor) view -
KIM?
KVA
KAT
KMB
KIM
KJB?
Okay it's Christmas so I'll add another letter!
KL-
Just for the fun of it: KLV?
KLT?
Pure guess: KLW?

Pure guess: KLW?
Lucky guess Oguerrerob, bad luck Wendax.
I don't really like solving puzzles this way but it was destined for obscurity otherwise.
The only info I have is shown below in a small advert for the car in the 1980s.
Any further details/photos are most welcome.
