What was this single seater called, who built it, what engine was fitted and when was it built?
One point for the full and correct answer.

It looks similar to a Simca-Gordini...

No Simca-Gordini content as far as I know but it is French.

Some early F2?
I believe so.
I said earlier that there was no Simca-Gordini connection but I'm not so sure now.
Certainly the engine isn't but as for the chassis I don't know.

Roger Gerbout, RG Speciale with Lombard engine. Comes from cca 1949. At least the picture is seemingly from a 1949 Coupe d'Argent.

P.S. or maybe not that venue, because I've found the source listing the RG Speciale which took part in that race as having BMW power, while before and after there were RG Speciale (and Gerbout Speciale) entered with Lombard unit. Maybe two of them at the same time, for both Robert and Roger Gerbout?

That's the car.
Interesting reply faksta, I hadn't considered that there may have been more than one.
