Is this a LeBlond Talbot or BMW, one of the many rebodies of one or two only created? I think it still exists in red..but with a leter body?

Yes, it is a LeBlond Speciale, one of 3 or 4 created I believe.
Unfortunately the article I had on the car is now in store for the moment, therefore I can't tell you what car this particular one is based on.
I'll lock it for you to tell me whether this was the first or second car produced and the year it appeared.

Apparently Leblond N°2 BMW 326 (first body by BMW?)based, this being the second body but I don't know by whom now, with the third body (off a 1954 Talbot Lago 2,5l   by Desvaux for Eugéne Martin) which was on by 1955.  Short-wheelbase chassis equipped with Bugatti brakes and Type 57 SC rear axle, it seems ???

Yes, that's it and I believe you have the full answer there if I remember the article.
Another point for you.

Here's another couple of photos, one of the body under construction in Desvaux's workshops in 1954 and the second of the car when completed on the LeBlond chassis No. 2 in 1955.
