Perhaps no 2 is an early James and Browne?
Opinionated but sometimes wrong

Perhaps it is! Well done!

Which means #7 wins the "toughest color-car" award!

I thought it should be a Tom P(o)uce . .

Believe me, I didn't do anything that would have been that much of a stretch!

I don't think it is, but is worth a try...
#7 Sima-Violet ?

Bit of a guess but is the final car a Gray?

Yes it is, but there are a couple of makes by that name. I guess I'll give you the point anyway, but can you add any details to your guess?
(Others besides 250gto hold off on responding please.)

Looking into this further I found three makes called Gray or similar. I believe its a Gray Light Car from Colorado, US built in 1920 and powered by a Harley-Davidson twin-cylinder engine.
(By the way the other two manufactures were another US company building Model T rivals from 1922 to 1926 and a Canadian company called Gray-Dort which built versions of the US Dort from 1915 to 1925.)
