Not a rerun?

Is it?  I could find no mention of it on the Search.
If you know otherwise please PM me its address and if it is I'll change the picture!
Thanks

If it's a rerun I'd like to know what it is!

barrett

Len Moir's Renault 750 based special from Australia, body by J&S Fibreglass

Carnut

Well, yes and no.  That would actually be a repost.
What I'm looking for is the name under which it was marketed.
Since you've got this far I'll lock it for your next reply.

I'd never heard of this until today when I stumbled on this picture totally by mistake whilst looking for something else. I have had a poke around and can't find any mention of this car having a model name, so please unlock it for everyone else to have a go..

Carnut

OK, it's anybody's from Experts down...

Was it just known as the Moir Renault?

Was it marketed as a Gnat?

Djetset

It looks like the Australian J&S Fibreglass Moir-Renault to me, based on a 4CV.

It sure does; have a look at barrett's reply #5 above!
What I'm actually looking for is the name under which J&S intended to market the car (I believe a tiny handful were actually made, maybe 4 or 5).

Reno ?

Yes!
And I would locked it for you just to get its full correct name before Otto got it!

So I'll be generous again and give you both a point as PJ would have got it and Otto did!

I suppose the idea was to pronounce the name as in 'Renault' rather than as per the city of Reno in Nevada!
