A nice easy Rookie point is available for identifying this car and when it was built:

One point for all answers.

Jaguar SS 1 Airline Saloon, 1935
Yes, it is a SS 1 Airline Saloon, but the year of manufacture is different. Locked for you.
1936
Wrong direction.
According to Jaguar Heritage .com: (..) only in production for a period of two Years, from 1934 to 1936 (...).
In the attached test is a model 1935 Airline saloon tested that was registered in december 1934..
!934 is the Year You are looking for?
Yes, I looked for 1934. So, this is your next point. Thank you very much for an informative appendix, I wish you a happy new year.
Cheers!
Merged.
Maybe need to change the title of the original puzzle if it should be 1934. Is that the correct year?
I did not search for "Jaguar" when I created the puzzle, as this name only became common later. Hence the double riddle.
As far as I know, the car came onto the market at the end of 1934, remaining stocks of the SS1 are said to have been sold in 1936, then it was over. I don't know if there were any Airlines.
The best way to search for a car like this is to use just one word - Airline. That way only cars with that name will come up but if you search for 'Jaguar' you get dozens of pages of them!

Yes SS used the Jaguar name for the SS100, but post-war they changed the company's name to Jaguar since SS had unpleasant implications.
