This was a proposed Aston Martin from the early '80s styled by Simon Saunders. It was intended as a replacement for the 'Bill Towns' coupe, and was to have been powered by a new V12, but neither the car nor the engine ever made it off paper.

Quite right!
It was in the pipeline when Victor Gauntlett took over A M but he didn't like it so consigned it to the waste bin and took another direction.
Simon Saunders went on to gain fame as the designer of today's Ariel Atom.
