What's this, by whom, from when?  For 1 point..

Google Image Search continues to raise its ugly head on AutoPuzzles.

1948 BMW 335 Coupe by Wendler, probably second body.

It is one of four BMW 335 (one convertible and three coupes) that were rebodied by Wendler for Mr. Eberle, a mill owner. It is the only known to survive.
