I'm not so sure about the taillights. It is hard to find good rear shots of the Colani-Alfa, but the taillights seem to differ from the Peugeot ones.

I would agree with you there Allemano!
The front half of the Colani car is not bad but the remainder is pretty ugly.
The door waistline is too high, the rear window an abomination and even the tail is peculiar.
Just my opinion of course!

This car is one of my pet hates! It was so good looking in its original guise until Colani came along and ruined it. I don't think there is a single Colani design that I actually like (except maybe the wild Miura) but this one is even worse as he destroyed such a beauty to create it!

I'm not sure but I vaguely remember that the car was already damaged before it got in the hands of Lutz Colani.

I understand that three further (different!) Abarth Chassis and plastic bodies were advertised not necessarily three of the same body style as shown in the ad.
The base car was a one-off Scaglione design so I guess only one Colani AR 1000 was ever produced.
