Time for another themed group puzzle.

No points for figuring out the theme, but once it's revealed the guessing should get pretty easy.

And remember... if two makes fitting the theme have the same name, I will use them both!

P.S.: One of the cars is an admitted repost, but I've used what seems to be a less commonly-seen picture of it than the one that was in an AutoPuzzle before.

Are they all model numbers, i.e. Model 43?

Is #9 a 1922 Grant Touring Car?

Aaron65

#10 (I think) is a 1922ish Washington Delux...probably a California Top Tourer...

Are they all model numbers, i.e. Model 43?
No. The theme is based on the make name only.

1922 Washington Delux (Deluxe?) it is! And BTW, that one's the repost (http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=11471.0). But the theme is not obvious yet...

Is the theme famous generals?
Nope. It's something simpler than that.

#2 1907 Kansas City 6 Cylinder

#5 1911 Illinois Roadster

#6 is an Ohio built by the Ohio Motor Car co. But I'm unsure of the year or model....

#8 1920 Californian..

....I think the connection is obvious now!

barrett

and #3 is another Washington, a 1909 Roadster

Ah, my 3rd guess...Barrett found it!  I believe #7 is around a 1913/14 Ohio Electric.

#1 is a 1903 Michigan...

#4 (I think) a 1908 Pennsylvania Type C touring
