Derived from an XK 150 Jaguar?

No Jaguar bits in here.

Not even the doors?

I suppose those aren't Chevy wheel covers then, either.

I think the doors are from an early 50s GM car, modified.  The vent windows are identical to those on my '53 Buick, as are the door handles.

Doors come from a '54 Chevy, cut down and adapted.
Not a word about the wheel covers, but since many parts come from different Chevys, they might be Chevy too.

The dash seems to be from a C1 Corvette - is this somebody's idea of an improved Corvette?

Time for a front view.
"No Corvettes were harmed in the making of this car"

Eek!  :o

The stance, and the side markers, and the mirrors, suggests a newer build, made to resemble a Sport Custom from the old days. That, and the wheel covers, suggests a late '70's or early '80's GM product, probably a Monte Carlo.

It was started in 1970 on a '64 Impala chassis..

Is that a Mercedes dash?
My first thought were the Monte's Carload hub craps!
Side marker lights sugest '68-on.
Looks like radial tires.
Is the front butt ugly? Why yes Vince, you are quite right!  ;)

1-I don't know where the dash comes from...
2-The only not-Chevy part I know are the tail lamps
3-This car was started in 70, so your 'post 68' comment fits..
4-I agree.
5-That's why I chose a back view to get your attention...

I know...I would like to add some more clues but some of my puzzles come to this point...I can only suggest a way to find the name of the man combining different words or things like that...and usually I wait some more for that, since it's pure blind guessing...

Sorry - I wasn't familiar with Wellman "vitabiotic" tablets before today. So, is "vitamin" part of the answer?
