Source I have says 'early fifties', and the earliest race record I've found is 1953, so let it be 1953

I have it as 1954 but it was probably under construction in 1953.
It was built on an MG TD basis by D.B. Gast of the Netherlands.

Thanks! Don't know for sure, but it was said to be raced in 1953 already. If that is the same car, of course, and not some other MG TD special by D.-B. Gast (who knows?).
