I don't know who built this car. If you know, please tell me. But I know when and where it was built and what was its donor. I also know where it was shown. So if you can correctly identify donor, venue where it was show and the year - a point is yours. 2nd point if you can identify its builder and prove it
Experts?
mmm...maybe the Polski Fiat 125 P the donor?
No, not that
from eastern europe?
Yes, the car was built behind the Iron Curtain. Donor comes from somewhere else
Professionals?
From Yugoslavia?
Yes, this came from Yugoslavia
It looks like it's carved from Styrofoam - did this car actually drive?
well, according to the contemporary article it had a drivetrain, so I hope it was driveable
Like so many Ford GT40 wannabes: VW powered?
Yes, it was VW powered. Most of the elements are now in place, who's gonna finish this off?

I trust they defrosted the windows first. ;)
All I need is a year. Should I put this one to the Black Hole?
1966?
Nope
1969?
1971?
1973?
1972?
Joao got it right: it was introduced at the 1972 Beograd Auto Show, powered by VW 1200 engine.
D'oh!
It was called the RA-1, it was probably the first Yugoslavian car (a mockup to be precise) with a plastic body. Made by Joze Ilija and Bozo Debeljak, who were friends with the editors of Avto magazine. The only time it was seen public was the 1972 Beograd Auto Show
