Who built this car? Where? What was its name? A point is at stake!
Is this the Škoda Winnetou (only prototype in 1968) from the czek republic?
No, the Winnetou was entirely different and built in much earlier than this one. Region is largely correct
Experts?
Is it a Dacia?
Not a Dacia at all
ZAZ
Oops, somehow I missed this. Yes, there's a ZAZ lurking underneath
Professionals?
self made car by A. Demenin based on a ZAZ from 60's?
It's a self-made car, based on a ZAZ but not by Mr Demenin and I think this was built much later than the 1960s
Where are our Soviet-car experts :)?
The only one at least similar that I can find is Luch (Луч), but is doesn't have ZAZ parts, afaik.
BTW, Demenin's car looks much different than this.
Well, I once told a fellow AutoPuzzler that I found a bunch of self-built cars on the net and promised to post these at some point. Here we go :)
And no, it is not a Luch
Built in a city which starts with K
Is there something about it on the internet?
Yes
Made in Russia?
Made in Soviet Union and I believe in the part which is Russia today
In Kazan?
I think I know where this picture is from. It was taken by someone on a camera from some stand or from the wall, but I can't find the source :)
Not Kazan, but your other hunch is correct, regarding pictures on a wall...
I don't know but to me the body is from a Renault 11 1970 and the front from a Renault 8 Gordini.
No, it's got nothing to do with Renault
Is it a big city > 100.000 citizens?
Ukraine - Kiev?
It is not Ukraine and according to wikipedia this city has close to a million people living there
Krasnoyarsk suits well :)
Yes, Krasnoyarsk :)
ZAZ 968 beneath?
I only know that it is a ZAZ
That's the other puzzle, not this one
