race car based on a fiat 508 c/mm chassis with Simca Gordini engine

I have it as Fiat 1100 engined, but since the Simca 8 engine is just a licenced Fiat 1100 engine, it could be both I presume.
The source I've got the picture from refers to the car as a XYZ-Fiat. It is your turn to find out who or what XYZ (don't count the letters) was and when the car was built.
