Title: Solved: Wendax 125a - FD 9 CV
Post by: Wendax on April 15, 2011, 08:01:30 AM
As the original Puzzle 125 turned out to be a repost disguised by another name, I try another one. Since the puzzle would be almost unsolvable with a blurred radiator badge, I left the picture unaltered. But it won't be much easier this way.  ;)

For one point, please respond and identify this car and the year it was built.

Those cars are not my subject, but that pennant suggests it could be from Germany.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I see a logo with a cogwheel and three circles. Any relation to Krupp?

Sorry, Pal. Looking at another source, I think this company built cars in France and Belgium. But the origins are Belgian.

I am sure it is an FD. I have seen some photos the badges look very similar.

Yes, it is. Another well-earned point for you, congratulations.

I was a bit too fast. The year is still missing. You might add the model (I just have a guess).

It looks like a 9CV from. Well, the company was active between 1923-1925 - so one of those years

Yes, that is my information, too. Not sure whether it is a 7 CV or a 9CV, but I also would prefer the 9 CV.

Now your point is really well-earned.  ;)
