MG K3 Magnette 1938 by Heinz Mölders
Yes, it is. The car was driven at the Hamburg Stadtparkrennen in 1938.
Another point for you.

Looks pretty short to be a K3 and in particular not much sign of a supercharger between the dumbirons.
Bet it had bigger wheels and slimmer tyres then, though!
The site on which I found indicated it might be based upon a K2. There is very little info on this car that I've been able to find.

Not much detail on the interweb but Mölders is credited with MG N and T specials. Both N and K2 would have the same wheelbase as the K3 (7'10"3/16 = 2.392m) and the site from which the photo came says 2.388m so perhaps it's the little wheels/big tyres than make it look short to me. The T type at 7'10" isn't much different really but it
is 2.388m.
This special was built by Heinz Theodor Mölders using a MG TA chassis, which he supplied with a MG NA six-cylinder engine. This is basically the same engine as in the K3, but without supercharger. The body was built by Andreas Basler. I'll correct the title.
