What's this car's full name and who designed it, for 1 point?

Bandini 1000 GT Berlinetta designed by someone called Corna.

Carnut

Yes, that's what I have it as.
Who 'Corna' was I have no idea!
Another Pro might enlighten us..

May I enlighten you although not being a pro?

The Carrozzeria Fratelli Corna was located at the Via Postumia 53 in Torino. Besides the Bandini, which was built by Corna for Zagato, there is hardly any bodywork to be found on the web. They were producing little MPV's on the chassis of the Iso 400, designed by Michelotti.

Now I'm totally confused  ???  I thought Zagato were a Carrozzeria.  Was Zagato a designer who subcontracted the actual body building?  Or did Zagato also build bodies themselves?
Duncan Rollo

The more you learn, the more you realise how little you know.

Wendax

I can reassure you that Zagato was a carrozzeria as well. Just from 1959 on they had massive capacity problems. So they subcontracted Corna, also for the Abarth Record Monza bodies, which were built by Corna and completed at Zagato.

You would probably be quite surprised at who built what for whom..
There was plenty of sub-contracting going on!

And thanks very much Wendax - that really is very interesting.  So does that mean Zagato actually designed this car?  The front looks like Pininfarina used it as inspiration for the Ferrari 275GTB/4 long-nose!!

I'm sure this was a Zagato-designed car due it's similarity to the Zagato Bristols. Designed exactly by whom however I'm not so sure of
