Gazela 2001 of 1974 - is that right  :-\

@re

It is as absolutely 100% right as it can possibly be.

Two more pics, as I think it's a very interesting car.

Made in 1974, it consisted of Porsche chassis, BMW Alpina 2002 Tii engine and modified Skoda 130R body. Gearbox was from Tatra, later replaced with a Hewland one from Audi. The car was used for hillclimbing and circuit racing.
It's not denial, I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

That must be a.. but.. or is it.. at all?

For one point, please respond and identify this car, its base, its engine and the year.

Allemano

That's a Skoda Gazela from 1974....however it was only a Skoda in part....Porsche running gear, BMW 2002 engine and a highly modified Skoda 130R bodyshell

See a post above that post. Pelland subsequently identified it as well. Not sure if that is thanks to the link or not.

Yes, I didn't see DeAutogids' first post either. Probably it came in while I was answering the first reply.

BTW, stupid me was searching "Gazelle" instead of "Gazela" when checking for a repost.  :crap:

Pelland, in dubio pro reo. That is, I will give you the point without discussing the role of DeAutogids' post.

Could someone please merge?

For the record, the car is also known as Gazela B5.

... and on the front bumper it once said BMW 2002 TIG:
