Title: Tenuous Connection 2.0 - Barbara Ruick / John Williams / Superman / Ford Custom
Post by: Otto Puzzell on June 17, 2011, 05:17:35 AM
A human, and a car. Each linked to the other, in a Kevin Bacon way. Can you make the connection? It's not that hard, really.  ;)

Hint: Ignore the cat. Puss has nothing to do with solving this puzzle.

No points for naming the human and/or the automobile. Only a complte answer, illustrating the connection, takes the point.

Her last name rhymes with that of an automobile brand, but that's not the connection.

B W J R

The lady's initials are mingled with those of her well-known spouse; he is the connection to the sedan.

Red? Hmm.. The man you're reffering to, is not an actor, is he?

It is Barbara Ruick, the wife of John Williams, who wrote the music for the Superman movie, where Lois Lane gets caught in her Ford LTD during the earthquake and Superman rescues her.

That's some fine Autopuzzlin' there, Wendax!

I'll throw a point Arunas' way for for his effort, and for more accurately identifying the car.
