You may have seen it elsewhere, I know, but this is its best profile.
Rolls-Royce 1954 Silver Wraith Vignale
Right. It's somewhere in a group puzzle, but from the rear, and I thought you deserved a front view to see its ugly front.
Well, the side view is not too esthetical, too, as you can see in this 1954 Turin photo:
I see a Triumph TR2, a Standard 10, a Bentley Continental, a Jaguar XK140 and a Sunbeam Alpine. What do you see?
Well, the1954 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith by Vignale, of course... ???

That goes without saying! it's central to the picture. I was intrigued by how many of the surrounding cars I could recognise straight off. This must have been the British area of the show.
QuoteThis must have been the British area of the show. . .
Except for the 1955 Chrysler Corporation models in the center backgound. Looks like a couple of Plymouths in the middle, and a Chrysler and a Dodge at the end of the right-hand row.
There's also a gaggle of Hillmans behind the Sunbeam Alpine - a Minx Californian, then a saloon, then a convertible, with a Husky estate behind them.
And here's a rare rear view:
The Rear View, aka The Pretty Side

Isn't that a Park Ward Bentley S1 Continental DHC in front of the Vignale Wraith in grobmotorix's Turin picture?
The S1 was first introduced in 1955 and the Continental about 6 months later.
It's therefore highly unlikely to be 1954! More like 1956, although possibly a 1956 model seen in 1955 since Turin was in November.
Don´t trust any sources that you haven´t scanned yourself...
It could have been 1955 or 1956, too, of course.
That explains why I couldn't match that picture with the photos in Iluvatar's Turin 1954 puzzle.

When I saw the picture posted by grobmotorix captioned as Turin 1954... :headache: ...I thought it could have spoiled a lot of car of my puzzle... :faint:
To defend myself:
the source did not name a year, only Turin show.
And I did not expect, that this might have been presented even two years later.
The photo itself was not filed with a year - so sorry for the fuzz...
