It looks like a Fiberfab Aztec...I'll check it.
Was it found in Alabama?

whcgt

No, it is within 2.5 hours of me. It does look similar to a fiberfab aztec or maybe a kellison astra?

I'll bet on a Fiberfab.
About the location...is it relevant for the puzzle?

whcgt

I will give you a point & agree that it is a Fiberfab Aztec. The relevence of where it is located..has to do with the car being within easy range of me..if I can get my Invader GT tuned up to make it. This car is purportedly abandoned..might just have to snag it..as Fiberfab cars are a cult classic & worth a little money if restored, though it looks like a tough project.

Paul Jaray

The body seems to be in order...and of course you have all it takes for the project.
Are you sure there's no owner around? You are a lucky guy!

whcgt

I am not positive..if it is abandoned..just google-mystery kit car Montana-& you will know what I know about it.

Paul Jaray

Found it...cool pictures.
I guess the location is York, then...but 1 point for this puzzle is enough, expecially once you gave away the solution  ;)

whcgt

Yeah, I am bad about giving away my puzzles sometimes...anyway I will give you another point for being the only puzzler interested in this puzzle..as well as for looking it up.

Seems these cars are generally referred to as Aztec GT2, to distinguish them from the more common Aztec:
