Alta
Very good.
LOCKED for you.
But I´d like to hear some more information to give you this point.
It is a single seater built circa 1928 to 1935 chassis number will be number, number S ie 54S
unfortunately I have no idea who the dribver is but would love to know and to in fact get more details of the car
just a quick question is it possible for me to post some pics of cars to be identified? in any of the 3 catiegories as I have some real interesting shots that may get people thinking
thanks terry

Sure, post them as individual puzzles and we will see who will be able identify them. I think you´ve got the globe´s best chances to identify them at autopuzzles.com...
How should I proceed with this one.
I´ll unlock it and we will see who will be first...

If you mean post some of your own puzzles, there are only 2 ways you can do this as Rookies are unable to:
1) Become an Expert (i.e. get 20 points) or
2) Write a feature and become a Feature Writer
Then you can post as many puzzles as you like wherever you like (they don't
have to start in the Rookies section although that's where almost all puzzles are initially posted) and we look forward to identifying them!
Oh, sorry - I´ve forgotten about this facts, to be honest. :bag:
Experts?
1936 Alta GP with Reg Parnell at the wheel?
Not 1936 and not Reg Parnell.
1935, Peter Whitehead?
It looks like a central seat rather than offset. So is it 1937 and Philip Jucker?
1935, but none of the named persons.
Alta 2 litre Sports from 1935 ?
It´s not the 2 litre version.
So is it the 1.5 litre version ?
It´s not always too difficult to get a point here...
Alexander James Cormack at the wheel of his Alta 1.5 Litre at the 1935 Großglockner-Bergrennen
When did it enter the professional level? ???
